An established coach. A brand that starts more conversations.
Don Scott helps business owners and family-enterprise leaders change how they think, lead and live. The expertise was never the problem. We rebuilt his identity and connected his website, newsletter, LinkedIn and search presence around one job: turn that expertise into new client conversations. Then we watched his own dashboards to see whether it worked.
Flat for eight months. Then May.
These are Don's own dashboards, not ours. Every LinkedIn chart runs from September 2025 to September 2026, and every one of them is flat until the rebuilt profile and the content system went live in May. Search Console compares the last three months to the three before.
We show the screenshots rather than the numbers alone, because a figure on an agency page proves nothing by itself. The flat months are left in on purpose.

Screenshots captured 13 September 2026 from the client's accounts. Revenue, conversion and return figures were not supplied and are not claimed.
Make his presence match his experience.
Don came to us for someone to manage the whole picture. Thirty-five years in business and finance, psychology training, a coaching practice with real results. And a brand that looked ten years older than the work, sitting on channels that were doing almost nothing.
An outdated identity
The presentation of the business lagged a long way behind the quality of the coaching.
A list left cold
1,200 to 1,300 contacts who heard from Don mainly at launches or at year-end.
Little LinkedIn presence
Thousands of existing connections, and no visible brand to give them a reason to engage.
A new local market
An office move created a need for nearby relationships and referral sources from scratch.
No search momentum
The previous website had no SEO activity and, by Don's account, no measurable impressions.
Everything needed an owner
Brand, website, content and acquisition all needed coordinated attention, not four vendors.
Let the expertise show up everywhere.
The core offer stayed personal: meaningful change starts with the individual. We did not touch that. What we gave it was a clearer, warmer identity, and a repeatable way to appear in the places prospective clients already spend time, so that a warm list, a LinkedIn feed and a Google search all led back to the same person.
Same offer. A brand that looks like him.
The original Family Enterprise brochure used blue-and-teal geometry and the line "Business Leadership Coaching". The substance was already there. Over about six weeks we rebuilt the identity around orange and yellow accents, a deep purple, stronger typography and a more direct positioning line: The Business Owner's Coach.

The rebranded brochure: opportunity, approach, case study, testimonials, biography and contact.

Experienced. Human. Approachable.
Don's offer combines business experience with a deep understanding of people. Showing the coach himself, rather than stock geometry, made the identity personal. The brochures explain the same promise: help individuals find clarity so the wider family enterprise can move forward.
One job: start a conversation.
We redesigned donscottcoaching.com around the new identity and messaging. It introduces the offer, explains the change Don helps clients make, shows proof, and gives a clear route to a conversation. Nothing on it asks for anything else.

Search, AI, and the street outside.
Search. SEO work gave the site a chance to be found by people actively looking for his niche. The Search Console figures in section 01 are the result: impressions up sevenfold, clicks up 2.4 times, three months against three.
AI discovery. The site was also structured so that AI systems can retrieve and understand what Don does, which is increasingly how a prospect's first question gets answered.
Local. A Google Business Profile was set up to support enquiries in Don's new area.
Build trust before asking for the meeting.
We started with the audience Don already had. A consistent newsletter, How to Create Change, warmed a list that had gone cold. The ideas that got a response became LinkedIn material, so the same thinking could open conversations in more than one place. That is the May inflection in every chart above.

A list of 1,200 to 1,300, written to every week.
Weekly issues on one theme, how people actually change, published to the site as an archive so each one keeps working after it is sent. Former clients began reaching out again; that is the part a dashboard cannot show and the client can.
A rebuilt profile and content that had already been tested.
Profile, proven content and structured outreach. The impressions, engagements and follower charts in section 01 are this channel, measured.
What the client told us happened.
Section 01 is what we can show you. This section is what Don and the project lead reported from the first three to four months, and we label it that way because a reported number and a measured one are not the same thing.
- 600 to 700 new LinkedIn connections in three to four months, supporting the move to a new local area.
- Around 700 to 800 weekly LinkedIn impressions at the time of reporting, consistent with the measured 16,700 over the year.
- First-place rankings for two niche keywords after three to four months of SEO work. The terms were not supplied.
- Meetings, a couple of new clients and referral sources from LinkedIn.
- Former clients reconnected in reply to the newsletter, and the Google Business Profile brought a couple of promising local enquiries.
What the work made possible
Don now has a connected presence: a recognisable brand, a redesigned website, useful content appearing every week, and clearer routes from attention to a conversation. The newsletter created familiarity, LinkedIn expanded the network, search and local discovery added enquiry routes.
The evidence supports early momentum and reported client acquisition. Revenue, conversion rate and return figures were not supplied, so they are not on this page.
What Don's clients say about Don.
These testimonials describe Don's coaching, not our work. They are reproduced from his rebranded Family Enterprises brochure, with the role-only attributions the brochure uses, because they are the proof his brand exists to carry.
Thanks for everything. Got my head going in the right direction.
I can see where this is going and I can't wait to get there!
We are having conversations we've never been able to have before.

Consistency makes expertise visible.
Three principles from the work that carry into the next coaching brand.
Start with the audience already there.
A neglected list is a starting point, not a liability. Regular, relevant emails gave former clients a reason to reconnect before a single new lead was chased.
Let response guide the next channel.
Newsletter replies told us which ideas landed. LinkedIn expansion began with those, so the channel launched with material the audience had already voted for.
Show the client's dashboard, not yours.
A number on an agency page proves nothing. A screenshot of the client's own analytics, dated, with the flat months left in, proves the thing the number was supposed to.
